The Photographers

Bailey & Mike Koscielniak
My interest in the outdoors
has been influenced by a number of people. I would like
to thank some of them here starting with my parents
George and Stella who gave me their love and support no
matter what, and the itch to travel. My neighbor Herb
Flag , he was
responsible for stirring the desire to fish and hunt and
be outdoors. My Cousin Leroy introduced me to waterfowl
hunting and then deer hunting. Then more recently
my friend and neighbor Gary Uphill with countless
fishing and turkey hunting trips. Gary was the ultimate
outdoorsman, he taught me among other things that
persistence and patience will pay off. In fact I am
certain if you look up either of those words you'll see
a photo of him sitting under a big oak tree waiting on a
turkey. I was extremely proud to be able to take him on
his last deer hunt.
There is
nothing better then to spend time outdoors with my kids
Nick & Morgan. and start a lifetime of adventures and
memories for them. And most importantly my wife Kathy
who deserves the biggest thanks for being right there
with me to enjoy countless adventures.
Photographing for me started to be a way to capture
these trips and remember them, then to capture photos of
wildlife and game, and now I seem to carry a camera no
matter where I go.
A number of years ago we
bought a chocolate lab puppy named him Cocoa and
embarked on a lifetime love of labs. Cocoa is no longer
with us, but we have so many fond memories. We currently
have two labs, Bailey an 9 yr. old black and Cassie 3
yr. old Chocolate, and could not be happier. We laugh
daily with their antics. I began to
photograph them both out in the field, around the house, and
on vacations up north. One
of my greatest joys now is to watch the two of them in
the field when we are hunting, once you start hunting
with dogs it truly becomes all about them all the rest
takes second place.
This is what inspired me
to offer this service to other sporting dog owners. Our
goal is to capture a precious moment in time and then
produce a unique piece of artwork you and your family
can use to bring back all those fond memories of your
lives together. Thank you for taking the time to look at
our website.

Cassie & Nick Koscielniak
My Father, Mike, my Grandparents, and my mentor Gary
turned me onto the great outdoors when I was young. I
have spent probably half of my life outside. I learned
to appreciate the natural world and respect it. When I
received my first camera I photographed everything, soon
learned the rules of photography and slowly started to
develop an eye for photos.
When I was very little we purchased our first dog, a
chocolate lab named Cocoa. This dog taught me a love for
animals. When I was old enough to get my hunting license
I learned that labs were not only great friends but also
great hunters. Cocoa has since passed on but will always
be a part of me. I will never forget the love that he
taught me for the outdoors and dogs. We now own Cassie
and Bailey and my love for dogs and the outdoors has
continued.
I am now a junior in college. Photography has continued
to be a pastime of mine. Our labs have become the
subjects of my photos, because they seem to be the only
things that are willing to sit still for a photo. Now my
father and I are teaming up to photograph your dogs so
that you can always remember your best friend.
